Wodden barrels are a block added by Psychedelicraft that can be used to store fluids for extended amounts of time. Any fluid placed inside of a barrel will slowly mature and barrels are the recommended choice for making wine or other aged alcoholic drinks.
It comes in six types: oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, and dark oak.

Barrels can be crafted by combining sticks and an iron ingot with three wooden planks of the desired type of wood.

The barrel can be placed down on any solid blocks.
Inserting / Extracting Fluids[]
There are two ways of extracting fluids from a barrel. You can right-click the barrel and extract fluids in a similar manner to flasks, or you can right-click the front of the barrel with an empty mug or chalice to dispense a drink directly.
Inserting fluids into a barrel can only by done by right-clicking it and interacting with the GUI, or by using redstone and hopper.

Maturation[]
Wine deposited into the barrel matures in steps of 30 minutes (or every 36000 Minecraft ticks, or 1.5 full Minecraft days, or approximately 3 Minecraft days with sleep), starting from Grape Juice.
One Wine Barrel can fill 15 Glass Chalices.
When broken, the Wine Barrel drops 2 planks, but not the grapes.

Wine grape wash when deposited in a barrel initially matures first step in 30 minutes then increasing in duration until it reaches the last stage which matures in 1 hour.
