The Drying Table is a workstation block that can be used for converting drugs from their natural form into a dried, edible state, sometimes necessary for consumption or smoking. It serves as the profession workstation for the Drug Dealer.
It comes in two types: wood, and iron.

The wooden drying table can be mined by hand or by using any type of axe.
Natural Generation[]
Wooden Drying Tables naturally generate in plains and desert villages. They can be found in the back of hot houses and vineyards, often accompanied by a Drug Dealer Villager.

Usage[]
Placement[]
Crafting using the drying table requires you to place it somewhere that is very hot, as it converts the sun's heat into power which is used to dry the ingredients placed on top of it. You want to find a spot that's outside and has an unobstructed path to the sky as any blocks will reduce the maximum output of the drying table and hinder its ability to work efficiently.
You also want to use it during the day, whilst the sun is at its highest point. The biome in which its placed may also have an effect on how quickly it's able to dry ingredients.
Tip: The sun in the top right of the GUI indicates how much sun the drying table currently has.- if the meter isn't full, try moving the table somewhere else or remove blocks above and around it.
Redstone Interactions[]
Drying Tables are a redstone component, and have multiple interactions with redstone that can be used to created automated drying farms ,or simply to make the player's life easier.
Hoppers[]
Drying Tables interact with hoppers like a normal container. They have 9 input slots and 1 output slot. A hopper placed below a drying table will be able to remove completed items whilst any hoppers pointing into the sides or top (not recommended, see above) will be able to insert items into the crafting grid to start drying anew.
Repeaters & Comparators[]
There are two types of redstone power outputs the drying table produces.
- The normal weak redstone power, which can be picked up using repeaters, indicates the current drying progress (0 - 15)
- The comparator output, which indicates the solar heat ratio (0 - 15)
Drying[]
There are several items that can be dried using the drying table. To start drying, first have the drying table placed somewhere hot and fill all 9 slots with the ingredient you intend on drying. If you have the inputs correct, it will start drying and producing smoke particles until done.
